Royal Strolling

The museum galleries are normally open every day. However, from 2 to 18 November 2026, the royal apartments will be closed as they are beeing redesigned for the Royal Winter Magic. As a result, admission to the castle will be significantly reduced during this period.

The Catholic St Michael’s Chapel, the cellars with their casemates, as well as the castle restaurant and shop, will remain open, however. The Bastion is also a lovely place for a stroll. On a clear day, you can enjoy a view stretching up to 100 kilometres from here.
