Hohenzollern Days - the ladies of Hohenzollern

A colourful programme for the whole family. This year's theme is "The ladies of the Hohenzollern".

Information

"The ladies of the Hohenzollern" is the motto of this year's Hohenzollern Days, in which all members of the Hohenzollern Places Network are taking part and have each come up with a corresponding programme.

The programme at Hohenzollern Castle:

  • The group ‘Le Bouquet Coloré’ puts on historical fashion shows in the castle courtyard.

  • With umbrella, charm and top hat, the musical duo Harriet & Lawrence plays the finest folk music from England, Ireland, Scotland and the New World.

  • The ‘Faithful Maid from the Steinlach Valley’ and ‘Count Öttinger’ haunt the castle and tell their stories.

  • At the ‘Pavilion of Queens and Empresses’, visitors learn interesting and edifying facts about the ladies of the Hohenzollern dynasty.

  • At the calligraphy pavilion, visitors can try their hand at the art of beautiful writing.

  • Prussian soldiers patrol the grounds (only on Sundays).

  • In the Royal Craft Garden, children can make crowns, helmets and bracelets.

  • The court jester duo Klausi Klücklich and Frohnella send huge and tiny soap bubbles floating up into the sky.

  • The museum rooms are open all day as part of the Royal Stroll.

To ensure that the culinary side is not neglected, the castle restaurant and the castle beer garden offer all kinds of delicacies.

This event is already included in regular castle admission. Free ticket holders and members of the Friends of Hohenzollern Castle have free admission, but must still book a corresponding (free) ticket in the ticket shop.

Photos and video recordings may be made during this event, which will be published as part of press coverage (TV, print media, digital media, social media). If you do not wish to be photographed/filmed, please speak to the camera staff.
