Hohenzollern Days - the ladies of Hohenzollern

A colourful programme for the whole family. This year's theme is "The ladies of the Hohenzollern".

Information

"The ladies of the Hohenzollern" is the motto of this year's Hohenzollern Days, in which all members of the Hohenzollern Places Network are taking part and have each come up with a corresponding programme.

The programme at Hohenzollern Castle:

  • In the castle courtyard, the group ‘Le Bouquete Coloré’ will be putting on historical fashion shows.
  • The ‘Faithful Maid from the Steinlachtal’ and ‘Count Öttinger’ will be haunting the castle and telling their story.
  • Prussian soldiers will be patrolling the grounds (only on Sunday).
  • In the Royal Craft Garden, children can make crowns, helmets and bracelets.
  • Court jester Klausi Klücklich blows giant soap bubbles into the sky.
  • At the ‘Queen's Pavilion’, visitors can learn interesting and inspiring facts about the ladies of the Hohenzollern family.
  • The museum rooms are open all day as part of the Royal Stroll.

To ensure that the culinary side is not neglected, the castle restaurant and the castle beer garden offer all kinds of delicacies.

This event is already included in regular castle admission. Free ticket holders and members of the Friends of Hohenzollern Castle have free admission, but must still book a corresponding (free) ticket in the ticket shop.

Photos and video recordings may be made during this event, which will be published as part of press coverage (TV, print media, digital media, social media). If you do not wish to be photographed/filmed, please speak to the camera staff.
