Hops & history - beer tasting with menu

A culinary and exclusive evening dedicated to beer.

Information

Beer brewing has a long tradition among the Hohenzollerns. Friedrich the Great, for example, learnt to brew beer in his youth after his ancestors recognised the craft of brewing as a guild in its own right and promoted brewing accordingly. Enjoy a guided tour of Hohenzollern Castle with stories from the lives of royalty and majesties (in German language). During the tour through the royal chambers, you will taste different types of beer at four stations. Afterwards, you can enjoy a delicious 3-course meal in the castle restaurant. If the weather is pleasantly balmy, the menu will be served in the castle garden.

Colourful summer salad
with beer cheese cubes, croutons & beer vinaigrette

Beer-braised beef brisket

The evening will be musically framed by Michael Sisto, guitar and vocals.
